The terms that apply to using this website and booking training with us.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Welcome to the Performance & Confidence Training website.
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to the services provided by Performance & Confidence Training.
By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Performance & Confidence Training is the trading name of PC Training (GB) Limited.
We provide professional training and development services for organisations and individuals, including leadership and management development, healthcare training, emergency preparedness and other bespoke training programmes.
2. Website information
We aim to ensure that the information provided on this website is accurate and up to date.
However, information on the website is provided for general information purposes and may change without notice.
We do not guarantee that the website or all information on it will always be available, complete, accurate or free from errors.
3. Training enquiries and bookings
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not automatically create a booking or contract.
A training booking will only be confirmed once we have agreed the relevant details with you.
Depending on the service, this may include:
- Training date and time
- Location
- Number of learners
- Course content
- Accreditation requirements
- Price
- Any specific organisational requirements
Once a booking has been confirmed, the agreed booking arrangements will apply.
4. Training content
We provide training designed to support knowledge, skills, confidence and practical application.
Training content may be adapted to reflect the needs of the organisation, the learners and the working environment.
Where training is accredited, the requirements of the relevant awarding or accrediting organisation will also apply.
Completion of a course does not guarantee competence in every situation or replace an organisation's own policies, procedures, risk assessments, care plans, clinical guidance or professional responsibilities.
5. Bespoke training
Where training is developed specifically for an organisation, we will agree the scope and requirements with the client before delivery.
Any agreed bespoke materials or resources remain subject to our intellectual property rights unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Course attendance
Clients are responsible for ensuring that learners attend at the agreed time and are suitable to participate in the training provided.
Learners are expected to:
- Participate appropriately
- Follow reasonable instructions
- Treat other learners and the trainer with respect
- Follow relevant health and safety requirements
- Inform the trainer of any reasonable adjustment requirements where appropriate
We reserve the right to stop participation where behaviour creates a safety concern or is inappropriate towards the trainer or other learners.
7. Cancellations and changes
Our cancellation and rescheduling arrangements will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Where a client needs to cancel or rearrange training, reasonable notice should be provided.
Cancellation or rearrangement charges may apply depending on the notice provided and the circumstances.
Where circumstances outside our reasonable control affect the delivery of training, we will work with the client to rearrange the training where reasonably possible.
8. Fees and payment
Our fees will be confirmed before a booking is accepted.
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within the payment period stated on the invoice.
Additional costs may apply where these have been agreed in advance, for example travel, accommodation, venue or specialist training requirements.
9. Certificates and accreditation
Where training includes certification or accreditation, certificates will be issued in accordance with the requirements of the relevant awarding or accrediting organisation.
Where a course is non-accredited, any certificate of attendance or completion provided does not represent an externally accredited qualification unless specifically stated.
Learners may need to meet specific assessment or attendance requirements before a certificate can be issued.
10. Training materials and intellectual property
All training materials, presentations, workbooks, activities, resources and other materials produced by Performance & Confidence Training remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Materials provided as part of training are for the use of the client and learners for their intended training purpose.
They must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or used commercially without our prior written permission.
11. Health, safety and responsibility
Our training is intended to support learning and confidence.
Training does not replace professional judgement, organisational procedures, legislation, clinical guidance, risk assessments or emergency services.
Participants remain responsible for applying their learning appropriately within their role, competence and organisational procedures.
Where practical activities are undertaken, learners must follow the trainer's instructions and relevant safety requirements.
12. Limitation of liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
To the extent permitted by law, Performance & Confidence Training will not be responsible for losses arising from the misuse or inappropriate application of training, failure to follow organisational procedures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
