Safeguarding
Developing confidence to recognise, respond and report safeguarding concerns.
Safeguarding is more than knowing the policy. People need to feel confident recognising when something isn't right, knowing what action to take and understanding their responsibility to protect adults at risk.

Safeguarding Adults Training
Our Safeguarding Adults training uses practical discussion, realistic scenarios and workplace examples to help participants develop the confidence to respond appropriately when concerns arise.
The training can include
- Understanding safeguarding and the responsibilities of staff
- Recognising different types of abuse and neglect
- Identifying signs, indicators and changes in behaviour
- Responding to concerns and disclosures
- Professional curiosity
- Recording and reporting concerns
- Information sharing and confidentiality
- Roles, responsibilities and organisational procedures
- Applying safeguarding knowledge to realistic situations
Our approach
We don't want safeguarding to become another tick-box training exercise. Through scenarios and discussion, participants are encouraged to consider what they would notice, what they would do and when they would need to act.
To develop people who feel more confident recognising safeguarding concerns and understand how and when to take action.
Safeguarding Adults & Children: Combined
Building confidence to recognise concerns and know what to do next.
For organisations working with both adults and children, safeguarding responsibilities can be complex. Our combined training helps staff understand the different considerations involved while being confident enough to recognise concerns and take appropriate action, using realistic scenarios and discussion drawn from their own environment.
The training can include
- Understanding safeguarding responsibilities
- Recognising abuse and neglect
- Signs and indicators of concern
- Responding to disclosures
- Professional curiosity
- Recording and reporting
- Information sharing
- Roles and responsibilities
- Adult safeguarding considerations
- Child safeguarding considerations
- Applying safeguarding procedures to realistic scenarios
Our approach
Safeguarding shouldn't simply be about remembering a list of procedures. We use scenarios and discussion to help people think about what they are seeing, what concerns them, what action they should take and who they need to tell.
Greater confidence, better professional curiosity and a clearer understanding of what to do when a safeguarding concern arises.
Particularly suitable for
- Schools and education settings
- Nurseries and childcare settings
